This hands-on introductory workshop is designed to guide you through the fundamentals of beautiful lettering in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

We’ll begin with brush pen lettering, where you’ll learn the essential building blocks of calligraphy: pressure control, stroke order, and letter structure. Brush pens are beginner-friendly and a perfect way to train your hand and eye before moving into more traditional tools.

Once you’re comfortable with the basics, we’ll transition to faux-calligraphy, a technique used to mimic the look of calligraphy without using a calligraphy pen. We will use this technique to design your white craft pumpkins.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a solid foundation in both styles, practical practice sheets to continue learning at home, and a deeper appreciation for the art of hand lettering. No prior experience required, just a willingness to slow down, practice, and enjoy the                  process.
