This hands-on introductory workshop is designed to guide you through the fundamentals of beautiful lettering in a relaxed, encouraging environment. 

 We’ll begin with brush pen lettering, where you’ll learn the essential building blocks of calligraphy: pressure control, stroke order, and letter structure. Brush pens are beginner-friendly and a perfect way to train your hand and eye before moving into more traditional tools. Once you’re comfortable with the basics, we’ll transition to dip pen calligraphy, introducing pointed nibs, ink, and proper technique. You’ll apply the skills you’ve already learned to create elegant, flowing letterforms while gaining confidence with this classic calligraphy method. 

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a solid foundation in both styles, practical practice sheets to continue learning at home, and a deeper appreciation for the art of hand lettering. No prior experience required, just a willingness to slow down, practice, and enjoy the process.
